Guys! I’m here to drop by a few words. Owh owh gotta tell you I’m leaving Japan for some private matter… for 2 weeks. And someone’s leaving too. For two months, on his way to Texas! Gahhh. I must be dying in lonesome later! 😛
So. Back to the topic. What is, or are your favourite words / terms / phrase / greetings? In English we don’t have that much these kind of greetings, but we do have a LOT in Japanese. Some may think it’s fussy but I like it! Coz to greet means you have to make a say. To make a say need words. But by words people know your feeling, rite?
So here are some greetings I love to hear. Some phrase maybe. They’re all in Japanese, I’m sorry to say so. Some were found in other language as well, but for some reason, I love it when it’s in Japanese way better.
1. 大丈夫？[Daijoubu?] = Are you ok?
2. ただいま！[Tadaima] = I’m back.
3. おかえり！[Okaeri] = (You’re) Welcome back.
4. 気をつけてね～[Ki wo tsukete ne~] = Be careful ‘k. / Take care ‘k.
5. お疲れ～[Otsukare] = Well done / Thanks for today.
6. 頑張ってね！[Ganbattene!] = Good luck ‘k!
I don’t know why, but when someone else say either one of these, I will be very very happy. No kidding.
Since I’m leaving Japan by tomorrow morning, so it’s like everyone said the no. 4 to me today. O boy! Can’t deny it I’m too touched & happy at the same time 🙂
Uh oh. Gotta go! I’m leaving guys. But ‘ll be back. See ya~
